About Me
I have always loved to draw and paint. It wasn't until moving to Bournemouth in 2001 that I decided to take it more seriously and I had some professional watercolour instruction learning many new techniques. Then in 2008 I found myself signed to an Agency who employed teachers of art on cruise liners. I have since then been lucky enough to travel the world doing what I love to do and pass on my knowledge of watercolour techniques.
I now do regular demonstrations to local art groups, teach in my studio at home to small groups, and Chair two local Art Groups as well as being a member of two more groups. My first love is watercolour although I am an oil painter as well; I have had several paintings in the Patchings International Open Art Exhibition in Nottingham 2017 and 2021.
In 2010 I was Highly Commended in the SAA Artist of the Year Competition and have been successful in being selected for Open exhibitions and being a prizewinner.
